Beaufort County Council Chair, Joseph Passiment, was the December first-Thursday GIC General Member Meeting
speaker. Joe has spoken to our group numerous times over the years. This time the content of his talk was to review
where the county is across a number of key issues, opportunities and metrics, where he sees the county going in the
future vis-à-vis these matters and how the GIC can play a larger role in helping the county spread the word and advocate
for outcomes.
